Included are several papers relating to the estate of Samuel Skurray Day; a petition by Bath publican, with over 90 signatures, requesting that marching soldiers be billeted within a mile of Bath to spread the cost of maintaining the soldiers; a letter from the builder John Lester, with a scaled plan showing the original site of the Bath Eye Infirmary; papers relating to the moving of the frontage of the Bell Inn in Stall Street; Bath River Navigation Committee papers regarding the purchase of land to create a tow path; papers for the Bath Turnpike Road Committee and a printed calendar of prisoners at the Easter Session at Wells' Assizes Court.
