Draft Brief for the prosecution for William Basnett, 1 Richmond Hill, Walcot, Bath, against William Holman, staying at Marshmans', Avon Street, Bath, Henry Pollard, labourer, and Stephen Rawlings (name erased from title) who were found guilty of stealing 12 teacups and saucers, two tea caddies, a silver caddy spoon and a green baize bag. Also a copy of the Depositions relative to the burglary. Together with two letters from Wyndham Godden debating the case for the prosecution and suggesting that Rawlings is not tried because he is to give evidence against Holman and Pollard at a separate trial (see BC/3/2/1/48/30); a list of things to be done in relation to the forthcoming trial; a note relating to the reward for the apprehension of the prisoners; and a note to Mr P. George from Mrs Basnett requesting him to pay Thomas Bishop £4.15.
