The records include material on the acquisition of the Assembly Rooms by the National Trust, proposals for different uses, negotiations with the National Trust over responsibility for paying for war damage; they also include sale particulars for the Assembly Rooms, several sets of plans, and publicity material, photographs and press-cuttings.
