Description

Bath City Council was responsible for a range of regulatory, registration and licensing matters. Some dealt with the regulation of public health matters, others with public safety, while others related to the collection of excise licence duties (including motor vehicle taxation). The town clerk dealt with all the Council's regulatory and licensing responsibilities.
