Description: A collection of reports, correspondence, and newspaper clippings, and licences to sell alcohol, the majority of which relate to the selling of alcohol in the Assembly Rooms. Correspondence relating to the provision of a bar, to be designed by Oliver Messel, in the Great Octagon is included, together with notices relating to the provision of a restrictive licence which only allows alcohol to be served to those who are eating a meal.
