Side B is 00:44:13 long and starts straight away with Ron’s voice, halfway through a sentence. Side B primarily focusses on Ron's time serving in the army, including time on leave and the set backs they faced whilst serving, such as the immense hungar and thirst and bombing raids.
At 00:34:32 Ron states 'here is a selection of cheerful music of the 1930s' with snippets of 1930s music proceeding until the end of the recording.
