Bath Voluntary Association for Mental Welfare: Very little is known about the Bath Voluntary Association for Mental Welfare. It appears to have purchased Bathwick Rectory in 1928 for use as a hostel. The hostel seems to have become part of the National Health Service in 1948 under Hortham and Brentry Hospital Management Committee, and was known as the Old Rectory Hospital. It was later known as Miles House. It ceased to be a hospital/institution in about 2010.
