Description

In 1864 and 1888 the British Association for the Advancement of Science met in Bath, and in 1875 and 1889 the Bristol meeting of the society included an excursion to Bath. Money was raised through subscriptions organised by the Mayor to cover the costs of hosting these events.

The records were found arranged into bundles. It is not clear whether this is their original order, or whether it was imposed later, but this order has been retained.
