His messuage in the street outside the South Gate, between that of the Prior, on the north, and the house of the Almoner, on the south, namely, that house which he recovered before Sir Gilbert de Paston, Justice of the King, in Bath. Rendering yearly to Roger and his heirs a sprig of gillyflower at Michaelmas for all service. The said house he will warrant to Simon and his heirs, and if he cannot warrant he will make reasonable exchange from other his lands in England. Consideration: 35s
