Agreement between 1 and 2, that William should have for his life a messuage [dwelling] against the Prior's gate, having the house of the Prior and Convent on either side. Consideration: Rendering yearly to the Commonalty 3s. and 12 pence yearly to the Bishop for land gabel at Hockeday and Midsummer, with warranty by the Mayor and Commonalty to Reginald and Juliana, his wife, who agree to keep the place in good repair.
