Whereas the several yearly rents hereinbefore mentioned amount to the sum of £252.
Whereas the gross yearly rental of £252 has been paid to Sir Thomas Rivers Gay.
Whereas John Fielder, Thomas King, James Broom the Younger, Betty Broom, William Matthews and Robert Clement have requested that Sir Thomas Rivers Gay accept such yearly rents amounting to £252 in satisfaction and discharge of the yearly rental of £252 reserved and made payable by the indenture of lease of 25 March 1790 [0810/3/1], and to take an assignment of the said rents to which Sir Thomas Rivers Gay has agreed.

All those several yearly rent charges [as recited] amounting to £252 to Sir Thomas Rivers Gay, as discharge on the rent of £252 reserved to Sir Peter Rivers Gay by the indenture as aforesaid.

Relating to a lease of 25 March 1790 [0810/3/1]

Whereas it has been objected (but the objection has not been admitted) that the lease of 25 March 1790 was void as not being pursuant to and in conformity with the power recited therein. And that the confirmation hereinbefore recited was inoperative as no term was created or continuing and therefore could not be solid.

Confirmation to 4. as trustees of the conveyance as in 0810/3/1 for the term of 97 and a half years.
