1. Robert Maltby of Westrip, c. Wilts., Gent., and Jane his wife 2. William Abraham, p. Bathwick, c. Somerset, and John Salmon, city of Bath, Gents., two of the principle creditors of the said Robert Maltby 3. The several other Creditors of Robert Maltby whose names and seals are affixed to these presents
Whereas Robert Maltby stands indebted to William Abraham, John Salmon and others whose names are subscribed, in several respective sums of money set opposite their names, which said Robert Maltby is at present unable to pay and has therefore with his wife proposed and agreed to assign and transfer his and his wife's estates unto William Abraham and John Salmon, for the use and upon the trusts hereinafter mentioned. To which the said creditors have agreed to discharge the said Robert Maltby from all debts and demands to the date hereof.
From Robert Maltby to 2. all his leasehold estates and premises in p. Lyncombe and Widcombe, subject to a Mortgage to James Roper Head for £4450, all his household goods now in his dwellinghouse in p. Lyncombe and Widcombe, now in occupation of Rebbecca Cacroft and Major Chester. And all his household goods now in his dwellinghouse in Westrip, c. Wilts. And all and singular his other estates whatsoever he shall or may be entitled to or which any other person may hold in trust for him. From Jane Maltby to 2. an annuity of £104.10s p.a. issuing out of an estate in Twiverton otherwise Twerton, c. Somerset, now in occupation of Rev. Dr. Phillott, due to her during the term of her natural life. And one other annuity due to her of £23.5s during her natural life from Rev. Dr. Phillott aforesaid out of the 3% consolidated annuities left to her by her late former husband Thomas King. All in trust to convert the same to ready money for the payment of the said debts.
In consideration of the premises as above, the creditors release and discharge Robert Maltby and Jane his wife of the aforesaid debts.
