Description
Copy of an article that appeared in the 'Annals of Science', 47 (1990), pp. 375-392. Erasmus King lectured in natural and experimental philosophy from the 1730s until 1756 at his Westminster home and other venues. In the 1760s he exhibited at Bath a unique mining model relating to ventilation. His wife Elizabeth died at Church Street, Bath in 1767 and was buried at Bath Abbey.
