Description
Funeral oration of Dom. John Clement Worsley (1812-1885). Educatied at Ampleforth school, he became a Benedictine monk and from 1850, parish priest at Bath, where he was responsible for the new Roman Catholic church and Presbytery (St. John's) on South Parade in 1861 and the new school there in 1883. Buried at the Roman Catholic St. John the Evangelist cemetery at Perrymead, Bath.
