Volume Ninety-Six Number 386 contains the following:
'Elizabeth Digby Pilot: Memoir of an eighteenth-century officer's wife during his service in North America, Part I. (Transcription of part of the Memoirs of Eliza Pilot, c. 1765-1773, held at Bath Record Office Acc. no: 0083/1. Originally from Ireland, Elizabeth Digby married army officer Henry Pilot and spent many years in North America as a result of the military operations of her husband's regiment. Eventually the Pilots relocated to Bath and both Elizabeth and her husband are buried at Weston All Saints with daughter Judith Henrietta Pilot) by Michelle Arentsen and Jennine Hurl-Eamon, pp. 110-130 ( See PP/2623/2 for the second part of the transcription); 'Portrait of a veteren of the Crimean War and the Indian Mutiny' (an account of the life of Private 2894 ArthurAlfred Nelson Sims of the Somerset Regiment who was born, lived and died in Bath and was painted by Bath artist C. M. Hodges) by David Howell, pp. 168-178. Covering letter inserted inside the front cover from Andrew Cormack, editor of the journal, containing a text from Michelle Arentsen and Jennine Hurl-Eamon.
