Description
Autobiographical account of electrical engineer Anthony Greenhill's experiments with electricity and the building of Kilowatt House, later Woodside House, on Bathwick Hill. The art deco-style house, designed by Mollie Gerrard nee Taylor, was built in the 1930s by Greenhill himself and members of his family and friends. It was famous for its electrics and was used as an 'experimental laboratory' for Greenhill's work with electric sound and lighting. Also includes a forwarding letter from Jeff Popham of Property Services to Gus Astley, Conservation Architect for Bath and North-East Somerset Council
