Photocopy of the front pages of a book on 'Lansdown Tower' (Beckford's Tower) written by Edmund Francis English Jnr. and published under the patronage of William Beckford. Comprises a note 'To the Reader' and a 'dedication' to Princess Mary Emilia of Baden. It also mentions the artist Willes Maddox who did the illustrations for the volume which were subject to Beckford's approval.
