Description
Photocopy of pages from Bath Cathedral Priory Cartulary kept at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, which gives details of a grant of land at Tidenham, Gloucestershire made by King Aedwig to the monastery of St. Peter & St. Paul at Bath. Also contains the following: two identical typed information sheets about the grant described, a transcription of the grant as found in William Hunt (ed.), Two Chartularies of Bath Priory, Somerset Record Society, vol. 7 (1893), pp. 5-6, a photocopy of 'Medieval Cartularies of Great Britain' by G. R. C. Davis, pp. 4-5, giving details of the Bath Cartulary and a copy of information compiled by the Library Commitee dated 1st June 1973 and sent to Mr Bryant, then the City Archivist.
