Description
A quarterly journal produced by the Cheltenham and Gloucester (a mortgage and savings provider and bank) which includes an article (pp. 12-13) on 10, Quiet Street where the Bath branch of the Cheltenham and Gloucester is housed. The building, erected in 1824, is thought to be the the work of architect Henry Edmund Goodridge (1797-1864) and was originally used for exhibitions and meetings including 'The Auction Mart and Bazaar' and once served as a Methodist Chapel.
