This issue includes the following articles: Tales of the railway: the Woolley Valley Railway (an account of the proposal by the Midland Railway Company to run a line from Mangotsfield to Bath - and from thence to the coast - passing through Tog Hill, Lower Hamswell, Langridge, Woolley and Swainswick although the bill submitted to parliament was withdrawn after the second reading thus the line was never built) by Andrew Swift, pp. 52-53; Exposed - the Major and the Roman Baths...(a short article on Larkhall resident Doc [Peter]Watson, playwright and actor, and the book he wrote on Major Charles Davis, city architect and excavator of the Roman Baths in the late nineteenth century), pp. 58-59; Along the Kennet & Avon Canal in 1923 (an account of a scheme which ran in 1923 and 1924 whereby a boat named the 'Margherita' ran from Darlington Wharf in Bath to Bradford-on-Avon in conjunction with rail services enabling passengers to enjoy a pleasure cruise along the canal) by Andrew Swift, pp. 64-66
