Description: Photocopy of a letter written by Helen Reid on the ancestry of Eliza Everitt and her daughter, Martha Burns Everitt, respectively, granddaughter and great-granddaughter of the Scottish poet, Robert Burns. They lived at 5, Sion Place, Bathwick Hill, for a while and Eliza died in Bath in 1878. There are also two photocopied pages taken from the 'Genealogical Memoirs of the family of Robert Burns' by the Rev. Charles Rogers, LLD. , printed for the Royal Historical Society, 1877, which contains further information on the two women.
