Description
Photocopy of part of the above volume, a copy of which is kept at Bath Central Library, which lists members of the Bath Knot. The Friendly Brothers were set up by Dublin merchants in 1763 to promote friendship and benevolence and various Knots were founded in different cites in England and Ireland although it is not known why a Knot was set up in Bath. There is a wall plaque relating to the Knot in Bath Abbey.
