The monuments of Bath Abbey by Michael Messer (concluded from Issue no. 3. The tomb of Henry Lichfield, sixteenth-century musician (lutenist) once thought to be that of Thomas Fletcher, lutenist to Queen Elizabeth I), pp.2-3; Fire Marks by Chris Cook (an explanation of the small plates of bronze or lead about six inches high dating from the late seventeenth to the nineteenth centuries, to be found on the walls of many houses in Bath which depict a symbol or figure and often the name of the insurance company who had insured the property.
