Description

An typewritten account of Anthony Bishop's family history. A small portion of the paper refers to his 3 x great grandfather, William Bishop, who was an innkeeper of either The Angel or The White Heart, both owned by Eleazer Pickwick, grandson of Moses Pickwick, immortalised in The Pickwick Papers. William had a successful business running coaches between Bath and London. He and his wife Diana, with some of their fifteen children, are buried at Bathwick cemetery.
