Description
These files contain information regarding the engagements and commitments of the Mayors.

Files 1-46 were sent for paper salvage (recycling) in 1942 and 1949. The first file in the series is therefore BC/9/6/5/47. Note also that numbers 89-93 in the filing sequence were not used.

Files up to around 1960 are arranged chronologically, whilst later files are arranged by individual Mayor. These later files also include general correspondence and engagements which the mayor was unable to attend.
