Description
Files on individual properties which applied for and /or were awarded grants under a number of different schemes, including:
- Town Grants scheme (an arrangement between English Heritage and Bath City Council for joint grants towards the cost of repairing selected buildings within the Bath Conservation Area). Grant aid was usually given at rate of 40% of total cost.
- Bath Conservation Area Partnership ((an arrangement between English Heritage and Bath City Council for joint grants towards the cost of repairing selected buildings within the Bath Conservation Area).
- Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Act, Section 10 (grants for works in outstanding conservation areas)
- Possibly 1990 Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act

Files may include detailed plans and elevations, and /or photographs

The files are probably originally from a number of different series, as evidenced by the variety of reference numbers. They were amalgamted into one series before transfer to the Record Office, and no attempt has been made to return them to their original series.
