Description
Letter from Sir Thomas Buckler Lethbridge (1778-1849) written to Philip George junior in response to a letter from the Treasury Chamber (also enclosed) recommending William Withers to position of surveyor of taxes for the County of Somerset. Includes two long letters from Benjamin Wingrove (1773-1840) relating to census figures for Bath together with another related letter. And one unrelated letter to Philip George senior, signed William Atwood, dated Twerton, January 1798.
