Description
A bundle of monthly sheets showing the town hall business accounts between 1814 and 1816, together with engrossing leases. Together with draft account lists detailing monies paid by George during the period 1799-1800 when he was taking over the position of town clerk from John Jefferys; and a sheet of accounts dated January-February 1817, settled to 14 Feb 1817 ''the day on which my son Philip was unanimously elected town clerk of Bath in the place of his father''. Also a section from a draft accounts book from 1809 detailing daily payments made by Philip George senior.
