Description
The Water Committee's report stated that the ownership of water flowing into land called the Three Trees, Walcot, and belonging to John Symons, did not belong to the Corporation. John Symons had planted a site below Beacon Hill with trees to provide a shady area to walk. He was also involved in the building of Camden Place (later Crescent) and was in dispute with the Corporation regarding unpaid water rentals.
