Description
Witness statement, with the mark of Ann Clement, stating that on the 13th July 1763 Ann Clement was measured by Lucy Dawes for a pair of stays in her house in Westgate Street, Bath. Together with a note of two orders for bespoke stays taken on July 13th for Mary Lawson and Mrs Clement and two signed receipts. These papers were presumably used in a trial against Dawes.
