Description: A photograph of Hands Dairy on the corner of York Street and Abbey Street. The upper two floors of the three storey building are still blackened by pollution whilst the small west-facing return into Abbey Street has been cleaned by the weather. This elevation carries the inscription: 'Hands Dairy Specialists in Cream and Dairy Produce since 1850.' Milk crates are stacked on the pavement to the right of the entrance. B&W
