Description: A view looking southeast long the west end of Westgate Street. The shops from the left are : No 13 Arthur's Stores Ltd (drapers);then the entrance to St Michael's Place with a sign to The Little Theatre. At No 14 is the Grapes Hotel with its hanging sign at first floor level; The Dorothy Shop, a confectioners at 14a and at No 15 is Phillips, a hairdressers at first floor and at street level a tobacconists.At No 16 is the premises of A. Tiani, restaurant and icecream parlour. An Ink note at bottom '15. Westgate Street.' with '12' in top right corner. There are also crosses marked in black ink on projecting signage and A-boards on the pavement belonging to Phillips, tobacconists at No 15 Westgate Street.
