Description
The façade of 1 Trim Street, better known as' General Wolfe's House'. At the time, it has been much altered and left derelitc, including loss of the roof.There is scaffolding reinforcement to prevent movement of the first floor facade It was the former premises of E.J. Adams, printer, engraver and lithographer. Ghost signs written vertically on the left hand side of the first and second floors read 'Adams Printer.' The building carries a sign attached to the railings showing the property has been sold by Coward, James and Co. The ground floo,r on the right of the doorcase, also includes descriptions of the activities carried out in the building ' Account Bookmaker' and 'Book Binder.' The painted facade of No 6 is glimpsed on the right. B/W
