Description: A panoramic view of Terrace Walk, looking north, extending from the entrance to York Street on the left , round past Orange Grove, the Empire Hotel and overlooking Parade Gardens on the right. Bath Abbey looms over the south end of Terrace Walk. The triangular space between Terrace Walk and Parade Gardens contains two stone balustraded entrances to underground public lavatories. The remainder of the traffic island has been grassed with paths around. An articulated single-decker bus is parked against the elevated pavement to Parade Gardens. Many of the shops of terrace Walk have awnings deployed, as does the Empire Hotel. Sepia
