Description
A high level view from the corner of 1 Kingsmead Square looking north towards St John's Place with Monmouth Street on the left. The site below the retaining wall to St John's Place is used as a surface car park with a low stone wall boundary. There is a greengrocers' , R. Hughes, on the corner of Kingsmead Square and Kingsmead Street. Behind St John's Place rears the bulk of the Theatre Royal auditorium. In the distance on the left are the upper floors and roofs of Queen's Parade.Reverse: Pencil note : 11th Jan 70 (amended to 71). B/W
