Description: A view northwards from the junction of Beau Street and Stall Street. On the left, the premises of Dunn & Co. Men's Outfitters and on the right, Boots, the Chemists. Scaffolding obscures the Roman Baths building from the corner of York Street and a tower crane is central in the view working on construction work further north. Parking is still permitted on the offside kerb and a lorry is parked near York Street unloading- an operative pushes a laden barrow towards the camera. On the reverse: a note in pencil- '24b'. B/W
