Description: A view looking south down Stall Street from the junction of Cheap Street with Union Street. In the midview is a man standing on a pavement demarcating the (newly) pedestrianised Stall Street. There are benches, interspersed with planters down the middle of Stall Street. On the right is the colonnaded building of Arlington House with shops beneath: R-L No. 43, True- form Boot company;No 42: Supermarket; No.41 Alexandre Ltd. (tailors) On the left is the edge of no. 21 Cheap Street 'The Abbey Vaults' public house. The mid and back ground of the view is under exposed and no details are visible. B/W
