Description: A view southwards from the junction of Stall Street with Bath Street with the entrance to the Roman Baths on the left. Beyond the Roman Baths is York Street and the premises on the corner are of A. Lewis and Co. Ltd. Tobacconists. The street in the distance is lost to overexposure of the photograph. This has been mitigated by the attachment of a rather better exposure which clearly shows the remainder of the street southwards to its junction with Southgate Street and with the wooded hill of Beechen Cliff behind. On the right is a commercial box lorry which carries the words' Sleepeeze Airsprund Way' over its cab. B/W
