Description: A view from the junction of Stall Street and Lower Borough Walls looking southwards down Southgate Street towards the railway bridge and Calton Road on the wooded slopes of Beechen Hill. The streets are crowded with shoppers and, in the foreground a teenager looks back anxiously at the changing traffic light signal. Construction work continues on the Sainsbury's new store on the right hand side. The prominent shops are Holloway's butchers on the east corner and Murdoch's television and white goods shop on the west corner. On the reverse: notes in black biro- 'July 1965' and '59/28'. B/W
