Description: A photograph of the 'New Inn' at 41 Southgate Street, on the west side.The two-storey plus large-dormered attic with half-timbered cladding has a 45 degree return to its south end and neighbouring building. The fascia running above the ground floor carries the adverisements for 'Georges Beers' while a projecting sign carries the name' The New Inn'. Cars and vans, including a Morris Minor and Ford Anglia, are parked on the offside kerb. On the reverse: a pencil note- 'Old 'New Inn' Southgate Street, 1960', and a note in black biro-'Bath'. B/W
