Description
A photograph of the second floor level, parapet and roof of no. 23 Royal Crescent prior to re-roofing. The detailing seen across the whole cescent is of giant Ionic engaged three-quarter columns on the first and second storeys, with an entabulature of a moulded architrave, plain frieze, modillioned cornice with a balustrade above. Roofs are of slate and chimney stacks with plain band courses. This roof has a water tank structure between the two roof pitches. On the reverse: notes in faded black biro- 'Royal Crescent, No. 23' and '2nd September 1981'. B/W
