Description
Photograph of the façades of Nos 17 and 18 Royal Crescent. No 17 was rebuilt in 1949 following bomb damage from the raids of 1942. All windows need to be replaced and ivy grows up on the ground floor storey. A similar damage has occurred to the first and second floor windows of No 16. The front entrance to No 18 still retains shutters on the windows and Edwardian blind box over the front entrance. On the reverse 2 photographer's stamps: "Photograph by George Konig ARPS and "Copyright Keystone Press Agency Ltd Phones Central 9634-5-6-7-8 4/7 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street London and a photographer's code: 5487-8.
