Description: A view of the south bank of the river looking downstream from the green space in front of Green Park with the industrial buildings belonging to Stothert & Pitt on the left. The terraced housing seen through the gap is on Lower Bristol Road and the distant spire is in the Lyncombe & Widcombe and St. James's Cemetery. On the extreme right are the saw mills adjacent to Midland Bridge. The backs of the terraced houses of Sydenham Road are right of centre. On the front of the photograph is a paper label noting: 'Section of towpath which could be linked to an adjacent open space green park'. On the reverse: a pencil note-'Section of towpath which could be linked to an adjacent open space green park' and a '1' in a circle. B/W
