Description: A view looking upstream from the reconstructed north riverbank, looking towards the Victoria Suspension Bridge (just visible in the distance). The gable end of Onega Terrace stands central in the view. The Air Training Corps, City of Bath building (now Army Reserve Centre is just visible on the left). In the foreground is scrubland adjacent to the towpath , awaiting development. The concrete capping of the sheet piling improvements to the riverbank is seen in the foreground. On the opposite bank, in deep shadow, are parts of the Victoria Engineering Works. On the reverse: a note in purple crayon- 'River Avon, underlined, May71'. B/W
