Description: A view the train shed of Green Park Station ( 1868-9 by J.S. Crossley, Chief Engineer of the Midland Railway ) from the south side of the river, close to Midland Bridge Road. A large single-storey saw mill building (now demolished and replaced by Sainsbury's store)dominates the view on the opposite riverbank. A boundary wall is covered by rampant greenery.In the background are the upper floors of the Telephone Exchange and to its left the spire of Holy Trinity Church. B/W
