Description
A view from the north bank of the river beyond Churchill Bridge looking downstream with the former industrial buildings of Samuel Thompson and Sons Ltd, Maltsters and C. Bayer & Co ( 1931) Ltd., Corset manufacturers. Just visible on the left are the upper floors of a modern office building ( then Stothert and Pitt offices, now L&C). The northern riverbank is protected by a rubblestone wall with a stone and concrete coping. B/W
