Description: A view from the riverbank, south of Pulteney Bridge, at the completion of the new weir. The east bank and walkway has been reconstructed and a group of young men are fishing at the return angle of the rivrbank below the sluice gate structure. The Empire Hotel and Grand Parade colonnade is in the shade to the left. The dome of the Victoria Art Gallery and the spire of St Michael's Church dominate the skyline. At the bottom of the photograph is a white number on black background: 2024. B/W
