Description: Photograph 6b is a view of the two sedan chair attendants' lodges in their restored state with Gibbs surrounds and bold keystones to the windows. The connecting wall has been amended and now has a strong sweeping shaped form. The boundary wall between the lodges has been moved to the back corners. Typed notes stuck onto the backing sheet:'SEDAN CHAIR HOUSES' ' These buildings were given to the Council by the owners and were restored in 1971, since when they have been used for the display of works of art.'
