Description
A view of the entrance to No. 2 Queen Square (Waldron's Private Hotel, 1940 - 1952; now a solicitors' office)with elaborate Baroque designs over the doorcase. This has grotesque Pan figure masks, swags, foliate pendants, egg-and-dart enrichments and open pediments. The external doors are open to reveal a pair of decorative inner doors. Above the outer doors there is a stained glass decorated fanlight including the name 'WALDRON'S.' The ground floor windows on either side of the doorcase have Edwardian-style blind boxes. The first floor windows have been extended down through the string course.
