On the left is the doorcase of No. 4 Queen Square and towards the corner is the doorcase of 1a Wood Street. Nos 1-6 Wood Street have a formal compostion of shop fronts ( 1871-4 by J. Elkington Gill) with Corinthian columns and cast iron undersill railings. A 'no entry sign' stands on the corner, denying travel up Queen Square. B/W
